NAD+ Blue Peptide Mist

Twelve actives, none of them ever heated.

A fine-particle treatment mist that lands NAD+, methylene blue and GHK-Cu on your skin at the strength they left the lab with — then dries down to nothing.

  • Antioxidant defense on three fronts — methylene blue, ergothioneine and superoxide dismutase
  • GHK-Cu copper peptide for firmer, denser-looking skin over weeks of use
  • Ectoin holds water at the barrier. No tack, no film, no fragrance
  • Layers over makeup and SPF — reach for it at any hour

Not a facial mist. A leave-on treatment that happens to atomize.

Most facial mists are built to refresh. Water, glycerin, fragrance, maybe a botanical extract. We built this one differently. NAD+, Methylene Blue, GHK-Cu, Ergothioneine, Superoxide Dismutase and Ectoin made the formula more complex—and protecting those actives through manufacturing became part of the challenge. The mist is simply the delivery system.
A typical facial mist NAD+ Blue Peptide Mist
What's in it Water, humectants, fragrance and select botanical extracts NAD+, Methylene Blue, GHK-Cu, Ergothioneine, Superoxide Dismutase + Ectoin, supported by marine and ferment-derived actives
What it's for Hydration, refreshment and sensory experience Antioxidant defense, peptide signaling + barrier support — a treatment step delivered as a mist
How it's made Blended with heat, which is faster and works perfectly well for water and humectants Cold-Phase™. Sensitive actives are introduced only after the base reaches cold-room temperature
On the skin Lightweight hydration and refreshment Weightless dry-down. Ectoin and humectants remain on skin to support hydration at the barrier
Scent Often fragranced or scented with essential oils No added fragrance. Nothing in the formula is there simply to make it smell like something
When you can use it Typically used as a refreshing step Morning. Midday. Over makeup. Post-flight. Post-workout. Whenever skin needs it.
Packaging Packaging often prioritizes the misting experience Opaque, light-protective packaging selected with formula integrity in mind

WHAT IT'S FOR

Daily defense

NAD+

Revive & energize

NAD+ replenishes the cofactor skin cells run on. Dull, depleted skin reads more awake and more rested.

GHK-CU

Firm & repair

GHK-Cu is the most studied repair peptide in cosmetic chemistry. Firmer, denser-looking skin; softer fine lines and uneven texture.

ANTIOXIDANT TRIO

Defend against stress

Three antioxidant mechanisms plus barrier support, against the visible cost of pollution, heat and daily exposure.

FINE MIST

Reset, anytime

A fine, even pass that dries in seconds and doesn't move makeup. The one active step you can take at 3pm at your desk.

What's in it?

Four actives doing the work

  • NAD+

    Cellular Energy Coenzyme

A coenzyme central to mitochondrial energy metabolism and the sirtuin pathways that govern cellular repair. Endogenous levels decline with age and accumulated environmental stress. Replenishes the cofactor skin cells depend on for energy transfer, supporting a more vital, less fatigued complexion.

  • Methylene Blue

    Mitochondrial Antioxidant

A redox-cycling compound that functions as an alternative electron carrier in the mitochondrial respiratory chain. Neutralizes reactive oxygen species generated by UV, pollution, and metabolic load while reducing the oxidative burden on dermal fibroblasts. Supports skin's own antioxidant reserves rather than depleting them.

  • GHK-Cu

    Regenerative Signal Peptide

A copper-binding tripeptide that activates dermal repair pathways and supports collagen, elastin, and glycosaminoglycan synthesis. Enhances tissue remodeling, improves firmness, and reinforces overall skin integrity.

  • Ectoin

    Osmolyte Barrier Shield

An extremolyte produced by microorganisms surviving in high-salinity environments. Forms a structured hydration shell around cell membranes and proteins, stabilizing them against UV, heat, pollution, and desiccation. Reduces transepidermal water loss and preserves barrier integrity under environmental load.

Supporting cast

The rest of the formula isn't filler. It's what makes six hard actives feel like nothing on the skin.

Matsutake mycelium ferment

A live-culture filtrate. The value isn't the culture, it's what the culture made, and that survives only cold.

Spirulina and plankton extract

Marine peptides and micronutrients, part of the antioxidant layer rather than the headline.

Menthyl nicotinate, vanillyl butyl ether

Microcirculation actives. The faint warmth a few seconds after you spray is these two working.

Chamomile, aloe, cucumber

Bisabolol and chamazulene calm visible redness; aloe polysaccharides bind water at the surface.

Lecithin, isopentyldiol, polysorbate 20

The cold-compatible delivery system that holds the actives in solution without heat.

Not in it

Fragrance Denatured alcohol Essential oils Parabens Phenoxyethanol Silicones

Ingredient research

What the actives have been shown to do

Three of the actives in this formula have been through human trials in their own right. Those studies are on the ingredients, not on this bottle. Here they are as they were run.

NAD+

Study design

22 women, ages 52 to 65, average age 60. Split-face, placebo-controlled — each woman's own face was the control. Twice daily for 42 days. Wrinkle depth measured by 3D imaging.

Crow's feet wrinkle depth down 9.2% at 4 weeks and 15.3% at 6 weeks

Measured skin age 4.9 years younger at 4 weeks and 8.2 years at 6 weeks, against a reference database of more than 300 women aged 30 to 65

Jowl line measurably lifted versus placebo, where the placebo side drifted the other way

Smoothness significantly improved at both 4 and 6 weeks

Separate 28-day study, 24 women ages 46 to 63: area and darkness of dark spots both significantly reduced at 4 weeks

Ectoin

Study design

Separate human trials. 24 women for the wrinkle measure. Hydration measured for 7 days after application stopped, following 12 days of use.

Wrinkle volume improved up to 23% in 4 weeks

Hydration stayed elevated for a full 7 days after participants stopped applying it

Copper peptide (GHK-Cu)

Study design

12-week study, comparing against vitamin C cream and retinoic acid.

Collagen production improved in 70% of women treated

Versus vitamin C cream 50%

Versus retinoic acid 40%

The studies above were conducted on these ingredients individually, not on the NAD+ Blue Peptide Mist as a finished formula. We hold summary results for each. We think the honest version is more useful than the flattering one.

What it's like

You feel it a few seconds in. That part is deliberate.

The pass

A fine-particle atomizer, not a squirt. Two passes cover the face evenly without a single heavy drop running to your jaw.

The flush

Three or four seconds after the mist lands, a faint warmth. That's menthyl nicotinate and vanillyl butyl ether lifting microcirculation at the surface. The formula announcing itself.

The finish

Dry in seconds. No tack, no film, no scent, nothing that shifts foundation. If you didn't feel the flush you'd think you'd sprayed water.

How and when

Where it sits in the routine

After cleansing, before anything heavier. A mist is the only step that works both as part of the routine and as a standalone reset in the middle of a day.

Step 01Cleanse
Step 02 — hereNAD+ Blue Peptide Mist
Step 03Serum
Step 04Cream
Step 05SPF, mornings
1

Hold it back

20 cm from the face, eyes closed. Far enough that the particle stays fine.

2

Two passes

One horizontal, one vertical. Even coverage matters more than volume.

3

Press, don't wipe

Clean palms, light press. Wiping moves the formula onto your hands instead of into your skin.

Morning

After cleansing

On damp skin, before serum. Sets up everything that follows.

Midday

The 3pm reset

When your face has gone flat under office air. Over makeup, no touch-up needed.

Outdoors

Over SPF

Antioxidant support on top of sun protection, not instead of it.

Recovery

Flights, gyms, heat

Cabin air, hot rooms, post-workout. Ectoin's whole job is desiccation.

A bottle runs about 60 days at two uses a day, two passes each.

    Khold does it again!!!

I’m seriously impressed with the Khold NAD+ Mist! It feels incredibly refreshing on the skin and gives my face that hydrated, healthy-looking glow without feeling heavy or sticky. I love how easy it is to work into my skincare routine, and my skin just feels better after using it. The fine mist is perfect, the packaging feels luxe, and it’s quickly become one of those products I actually look forward to using every day. Definitely a new favorite! Khold can do no wrong!!

Simply not myself without the blue peptide mist!

I ran out of my blue peptide mist 2 months ago and goodness me I was too forgetful to order another. I have noticed that over that time, my complexion was not where it once was but could not pin point the reason why. Then I decided to reorder the Blue Peptide Mist and eureka! I am back to looking and feeling myself and carrying that energy into the art studio each day!

    Peptide mist

Really like this mist. It feels super refreshing on the skin and doesn’t leave any sticky feeling after. I’ve been using it during the day whenever my skin feels a little dry or dull and it gives it a nice fresh look. The spray comes out really fine too, which I like. Definitely something I’d buy again.

Questions

The things people ask before they buy

Isn't a mist just expensive water?

Usually, yes, and that's a fair instinct. Look a few ingredients down on most mists and you're into extracts at a fraction of a percent. This one carries six performance actives including an enzyme and a copper peptide, which is why it needed a cold manufacturing process to exist at all. The full list is on this page. Compare it to whatever else you're considering.

Will the methylene blue stain my skin, towels or pillowcase?

The Methylene Blue in our formula is used at a carefully controlled cosmetic concentration and is not intended to stain the skin. Because Methylene Blue is naturally a highly pigmented molecule, we recommend allowing the mist to fully absorb and dry before contact with light-coloured clothing, towels, or bedding.

Can I use it over makeup and SPF?

Yes, both. The particle is fine enough that two passes won't move foundation, and it dries without tack. Over SPF it adds antioxidant support on top of sun protection rather than instead of it, and it carries no SPF of its own.

Does it replace my serum?

No. It sits before your serum and does a different job: antioxidant defense and barrier hydration in a form you can reapply through the day. If you want the heavier peptide treatment, that's the Advanced Peptide Serum.

What is the warm feeling after I spray?

Menthyl nicotinate and vanillyl butyl ether, two microcirculation actives. A faint warmth for a few seconds is expected and settles quickly. If it feels like stinging rather than warmth, stop using it and email us.

Is it safe for sensitive or reactive skin?

It's fragrance-free, alcohol-free and free of essential oils, and chamomile, aloe and cucumber are in there to keep it comfortable. It does contain microcirculation actives that produce a brief warm flush. As with any new active product, patch test on the inner forearm first, and check with your physician if you're pregnant, nursing or treating a skin condition.

How long does a bottle last?

About 60 days at two uses a day, two passes each. Most people reach for it more than that once it's on the counter, which is why the Duo exists.

Does it need to be refrigerated?

No. It's made cold, not stored cold. Every formula passes heat-stability and freeze-thaw testing in development, so if a parcel arrives warm or cold to the touch the formula is still stable. Let it come back to room temperature and keep it out of direct sun. The opaque bottle handles the rest.

Why does cold manufacturing matter?

Because of what's in this particular bottle. A copper peptide, an enzyme and a live-culture ferment are the three most heat-sensitive ingredient classes in cosmetic chemistry, and all three still appear on a label after a hot batch while losing what made them worth adding. Heat is standard because it's fast, not because it's better. For this formula, cold processing isn't a marketing position — it's the reason the formula is possible.

How should I use the mist?

Close your eyes, mist evenly over clean skin or between skincare steps, and allow it to dry. Use two passes twice daily, or reapply when your skin needs a refresh.
